The Regional Workshop on National Implementation of the Biological Weapons Convention in East Asia and the Pacific was organised for strengthening the capabilities of States Parties in East Asia and the Pacific to nationally implement obligations and additional agreements stemming form the BTWC, and to support the CBM process in the region. The workshop was hosted by the Government of the Philippines and held at the New World Makati City, Manila Hotel, Makati City.
